I was in a huge rush this morning and chucked a load of washing in the machine before the school run
came home to find
The cat must have taken a dump overnight in the pile of clothing the kids thoughtfully left for the 'maid service' (that's me) to pick up off the bathroom floor.
So it has all gone through a load of washing and the machine
I have cleaned the machine - gag - and will run a couple of empty cycles on hot - don;t know what else I can do
Just what I needed
As if I don't have enough as it is

not nice, also run a cycle using vinegar through your machine
also soak the clothes in vinegar, use 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water the vinegar will neutralise the smell.

Or perhaps just dry the clothes, leave them on the beds of the offending kidlets for a lesson about not putting their clothes in the clothes basket...

It must be a thing for cats to be a pita this week..
I had just washed all the white sheets, used some bleach to make sure they stayed clean... when I took the basket outside to hang the clothes out my cat just walked up and sprayed all over the clean washing...
I was like :O:O:O
I got the hose and did my best to wash it off and then took them in and ran them through another cycle with even more bleach...
WHY???
this cat never sprays... he was neutered while very young and very rarely sprays...
must have been the bleach maybe???

Catmad, yep the bleach smells like cat pee to another cat so they will pee where ever the bleach is.
Ashjoma, use cold water first, then a hot run. Faeces has protiens in it which breakdown with cold but sets with hot water, same as blood ane raw egg
My cat brought a mouse in side this morning, bless her X-(
