Firstly I would like to ask you, what are the major issues that concern you the most?

well being single and having no children.

the amount of money that is given to everyone but me.

have to have private health insurance or i have to pay extra tax if i don't.

pay more than $4000 a year combined in medicare levy and private, but yet if i go and see a doctor i am out of pocket. this needs to be fixed.

the amount that WA props up the rest of the country. dollar wise.

lack of investment in trades and the dumbing down of the ones that remain.

sale of our land to over seas investors.

difference in spending between city's and rural areas.

border protection. i believe we should accept refugees but how they get here needs to be addressed. just cause you have money you shouldn't just be allowed to show up.

either you apply to migrate here or you go to the next closest safe haven. not pay to come australia.

everyone who arrives here trying to jump the que should be put on a charter flight(cheaper than detaining) and returned to a UN refuge camp. that plane can then return with genuine refugees.

after all we contribute to the UN.

superaunation should not be allowed to become a cash cow for the government to raid. and should be protected for this via passing of legislation.

I'm curious about what Labor have done such a bad job at.

I do keep hearing the opposition and shock jocks constantly repeating the worst guvment line but what I see tells a different story.

The kids schools have enjoyed much needed new buildings.

Institutional abuse of children is subject to an official enquiry.

The NDIS will be implemented after many years of planning and assessment of what was needed.

School funding reforms, also a long time in the planning and evaluating stages, will be implemented.

The NBN, well advanced after planning, negotiation and trials, will be a game changer for many in business, education and health.

Pensioners were granted an increase for the first time (apart from CPI index) in many years.

Apologies were given to those who were affected by forced adoptions and for the stolen generation of indigenous people.

University funding has been increased.

There could be more. That's just what comes to mind free of research.

I have decided who I'm going to vote for, but IMO there's nothing very inspiring from any of them so far

I agree Debra, it is kind of like choosing between the lesser of the two evils.

Sucks doesn't it, But we were all children once so no major gripes there. They did just slice and dice the baby bonus though.

The problem is that they can't force doctors not to charge more and can't force the health fund to pay the whole amount, not sure how they can fix this

the amount that WA props up the rest of the country. dollar wise.

There have been times in the past when the situation was the reverse. WA has been propped up by the others states for years at a time. Some call it swings and roundabouts.

lack of investment in trades and the dumbing down of the ones that remain.

It takes time to fix. They have started by increasing apprenticeship placements and building trade training centres.

sale of our land to over seas investors.

Been going on for years. When this govt. discusses it they are accused of racism.

difference in spending between city's and rural areas.

There will always be a difference in spending although this gov seems to be attempting to address the issue by building NBN in rural and regional areas from the beginning, building agri-colleges and trade training centres in rural areas as well as cancer treatment centres and other health services.

border protection. i believe we should accept refugees but how they get here needs to be addressed. just cause you have money you shouldn't just be allowed to show up.

This issue is being used as a wedge and has been for years. I don't have the answers and I don't like the way we a fed FUD with the aim of promoting racist hate.

superaunation should not be allowed to become a cash cow for the government to raid. and should be protected for this via passing of legislation.

Super is not and has not become a cash cow for government to raid. It is protected. The only changes suggested are changes to stop people using it as a bank account to avoid paying income tax.

I'd vote for a government  that would force the big mining companies to pull their fingers out and start  training apprentices instead of importing workers via 457 visas.

But if they did that Gina would have to pay them wages not small change.
