What on earth would possess an old male person from Queensland to travel to Tasmania to protest about Tasmanian abortion laws and harrasss women when it clearly is none of his business what choice they make?

All that and some warped sense that he has a right to control and dominate women.
It baffles me that some male in qld would decide that it's any of his damn business to protest against women's choices anywhere but the idea of travelling to the other end of the country to stick his nose into other people's business is deranged.

Mmm. maybe some helpful local will send him on a hike to Cradle Mountain where he will freeze his nuts off and turn into lump of ice.

He's obviously against it and feels strongly enough about it to protest about it. What's your problem with that?
