Iโd composed a sort of letter,
Which I had for want of better
Common sense and circumspection
Posted on an Ebay thread
โTโwas in innocence I sent it,
Never dreamed that Iโd repent it,
For I thought the button pushers
Would be fast asleep in bed
But a missive came directed
From a quarter unexpected,
And Iโm sure the same was written
By a robot on the keys,
โTโwas an ebay mod who wrote it
And verbatim Iโll not quote it,
But in essence it said โWatch it!
Or youโre headed overseas.
Now Iโm feeling hurt and puzzled
To have been so cruelly muzzled,
And my self-esteemโs deflated,
Like a leaky old balloon.
But it seems there is a lesson,
To be learnt from my transgression โ
Itโs the posters pay the piper,
but the mods who call the tune.
