I am becoming fascinated with Perth!
Tell me everything! What are the nice areas? What's not so nice?
Is East Victoria Park a nice area? What about Mt Lawley?
How cold does it get in winter? Many people? Is it busier now?
Why have you got sandy soil over there? Is it everywhere? LOL
Pictures please 😄

Monsters, areas to look at would depend on how close to Perth or a large suburban centre you wanted to live. Would you be looking at a suburban, rural or semi rural property and would Mr Monsters be looking a t commuting to work every day or doing FIFO?

Too cold! Don't believe the locals when they say it doesn't get cold lol
beaches are the only good thing, plus kerbside dumping can score you a great bargain!
schools don't use aussie lingo and public schooling is expensive compared to the east.
Far too many kiwis and poms (lol not meant to be a look at me statement, just what I saw)...... I used the bus for the first time since a kid and held the bus up for ages trying to understand the drivers accent hahahaha was funny!
i would move back there 🙂

Wow lots of reading, thanks.
Not thinking of moving there but definitely coming for a visit. Been there a couple of times as a child, I vaguely remember Kings Park and the swans, Rottnest Island and what is that (vintage?) shopping street or mall in the city?
My family was or is in East Victoria Park, Mount Lawley, Bassendean, Fremantle.
It snows where I am so not sure I could cope with the heat!

By the way Clair, happy to take any pics in Fremantle Cemetary that you want or need. Flashie (of the honest dot fame) might be happy to vouch for me 😉
Thanks. I've got family travelling from Mandurah to Fremantle area mothers day and they are going to see if they can take photos for me.
How long would that take? From Mandurah to Fremantle?
