PERTH

I am becoming fascinated with Perth!

Tell me everything! What are the nice areas? What's not so nice?

Is East Victoria Park a nice area? What about Mt Lawley?

How cold does it get in winter? Many people? Is it busier now?

Why have you got sandy soil over there? Is it everywhere? LOL

Pictures please 😄

PERTH

Is it dry heat or humid heat?

Scorching hot this past summer, normally a dry heat but even that is changing, people don't move and thrive on air conditioning, no way to live 😄

I'm not a big fan of the serious heat.  It used to be not as bad for me because it was dry heat but these days I think it has become a lot more humid.

I suppose that depends whether it's a big cyclone season up north.

Yes, it was in fact incorrect and a little bit insulting to the indigenous people of Perth.

Oh that, I have encountered it quite a lot there and was comparing it to Sydney.

My daughters midwife was absolutely beautiful and was indigenous.

Fully aware it is a sensitive topic but I was speaking accurately.

Yes it does get hot and yes it seems to be getting more humid. I love my aircon, what advances we have made.:^O

We have lots of different people living here just like anywhere else in Australia.

Mandurah to Fremantle probably more like 1 hour, not to bad.

The place in the city you are thinking of Clair is London Court.

*nods* Joono

people don't move and thrive on air conditioning,

I disagree, people seem much happier in the Spring/Summer, when we can actually get outdoors and do things. I hate the Winter, its depressing, dark, cold, oppressive clouds, damaging storms, stuck indoors, I find the cold physically painful.
