season 13 started tonight!!!!!  and I LOVE STERLING,HE ROCKS!!!

Thanks for the heads up, sin! Polls & I were out & about and had forgotten it was starting up tonight. Fortunately I had the ol' DVR set to go.

Just finished watching the opener. Sure looks like Ramsay's stacked the deck in favor of the women, this season ~ or it looked that way right up to the 2nd service. I think the ladies got too comfortable & then reality hit them like a hunk o' battered salmon!

GR's a HUGE proponent of women chefs, if you didn't know. Has been for years.

I like Sterling but he seems like a goofball & they typically don't take it all, in Hell's Kitchen. He seems like he has passion though, and that goes a long way.

Too early for me to pick favorites, especially after Joys' exit, last season.

lloyd,yes,sterling is a bit goofy,but the energy and passion is there,and i think he could be a good kitchen leader. i'm not sorry to see janai go,too much attitude,and not serious enough about the job,imho.

i like denine,she could go places,but i don't think she'll win. 

gotta say,i never thought about using geoduck for sashimi,lol!

editted to say that i was shocked about joy too,i really thought she could win.

I haven't watched that on TV since 2008. but have caught some episodes of Kitchen Nightmares on Youtube. Something about that guy going into resturaunts and chewing out the owner or owners. I don't know, it's a pretty good reality show anyhow. I would like to see them bring back Fear Factor
