So let me get this straight -
This budget, Abbott/Hockey will be taking away the modest $11,000 minimum wage Paid Parental Leave entitlement currently available to mothers in some workplaces if they also have access to other schemes.
Yet up until 2 months ago, under Abbotts own Parental Scheme, women would recieve Paid Parental Leave at their substantive position salary AND would be able to double dip into other schemes.
How do you go from the ridiculously over-generous to taking things away??
Why do I have the feeling that this budget is going to be as scatterbrained as the last one which will make it impossible for other parties to agree to see it through?

The debt that no one can deny, OH wait! you did
Oh that's right it's just a Murdoch conspiracy.
The mind boggles, but expected from the secular clericy.
Oops, there's that misspelled word again.

why should taxpayers pay for people to have children then pay for them to be cared for
In your world, women should stay home and do paid work outside the home, after they have children then?
Obviously, women aren't going to go to work to earn, for example, $450 a week and it will cost them $400 in childcare costs.

As for your "lying" comment. Labor actually legislated things into law (Climate commission and Gonski) so it could "never be changed" how's that for democracy.
Gonski was "legislated" into "law"? When?
And, actually, what does that even mean? How does "legislated into law" work?

If it's going to be used as a label to affix to posters it would be more appropriate to get the spelling right.... probably the meaning too.

Confused. What is a clericy?

When employers pay wages high enough to cover child care then there will be no need for taxpayers to subsidies. And before you say that people should not have children if they cannot afford to support them; if people would not get various allowances to have children we end up with negative population growth just like Japan; they are now getting so desperate that they are looking at attracting migrants for the jobs that cannot be filled with local people.
If government has to subsidies people's income, then the main beneficiaries are the companies who pay subsistence wages.

Many employers already pay PPL and then the recipient gets another bite of the cherry by subsidies from the taxpayer. That loophole will be closed today in the budget.
Also the PPL for stay at home mothers? people who were not even in the workforce, what a joke, have a child, get baby bonus, get another handout to stay at home to look after your child but the taxpayers have to pay you for it? I hope that little rort will be closed today also.
As fo all your musings about spelling and what secular clerisy means? I believe your'e all secretly looked it up and put your own spin on it because that's what you do. You do exactly what the term means.
