Path to surplus sunk by Labors $18bn over spending

TREASURY has warned Joe Hockey of an $18 billion spending burden that will destroy his plan for a “path to surplus” unless drastic action is taken in May to overhaul the federal budget…

[The] Treasurer warned of a “time bomb” from Labor spending that was not revealed last year because it flowed after the four years of the budget forecast period.

The outlays will be included in the budget for the first time in May because the forecast period now includes the 2017-18 financial year, intensifying pressure on the government to slash outlays…

The sharp rise is mostly the result of Labor’s decisions in government to increase spending on foreign aid, education, hospitals and the National Disability Insurance Scheme…

The NDIS starts becoming very expensive beyond 2017-18, with its cost doubling to $5bn in that year and doubling again over the next two years to reach just under $10bn.

The Gonski school funding reforms cost $1.2bn in 2016-17 and there is no further increase in the following year, but the cost rises sharply to $3.8bn by 2019-20.

Much more damaging to the budget are Labor’s health funding reforms, under which the commonwealth has promised to inject $16.5bn into state-run public hospitals over a five-year period, with the commonwealth’s share of hospital costs rising to 50 per cent by July 2017.

Oh but the "Massive Losers" Labor is just a gift that keeps on giving. Kevin, Julia, Shorten, Obead, Thomson, Williams, Dastayri and all the other crims are just too good to leave behind.

Every day there's another blast from the failed Labor years to remember.  Every day there's another mess or cover up that they have left behind,  and all the while we see Swannie sitting in parliament, the architect of the massive debt blowout, sitting there doing nothing, collecting his excellent wage and adding to his super and pension for life at the taxpayers expense. He hasn't even got the decency to resign like a lot of the Massive Losers did.

A gift that just keeps giving.Robot LOL The Robinson Brothers have just finished a song   on Labor called "Massive Losers" fashioned on the Bee Gees "Massachutses".brilliant Smiley LOL

So from here on in the Lab party will be referred to and known as the   "Massive Losers"  Smiley LOL

Fixed... However I don't think Gina will like it ....let's see if Joe has the intestinal fortitude to even suggest it.

Tax payer funded subsidies to the mining sector(not counting what the states throw into the tin)

Diesel fuel rebates which give mining companies a massive tax refund on their fossil fuel bills $8 billion over four years

Accelerated depreciation on exploration which rewards mining companies for oil drilling, coal exploration and more $4 billion over four years

Accelerated depreciation on assets $1.85 billion over four years

The total additional revenue raised would be almost $14 billion over four years

cant have them paying colic, better to have a larger pool pf unemployed and homeless. when jobs are scarce people will accept lesser conditions and rates.. thats the idea . the current round of job losses is quite deliberate. its all part of the grand scheme to have us embrace 3rd world pay and conditions
