I am not a nurse but have two friends that were... they became phlebotomists... they left when their bodies told them too.

It is many years ago now but a family friend decided to give up hospital nursing as the shift work hours did not suit her changed family circumstances.
She got a job in a large medical practice that did shipping and insurance work so there were a lot of detailed reports to be typed up as well as mediacl work. She had office training as well as her nursing training so was invaluable to the practice....she was nominally in the office but could also work the reception desk during the lunch break or could help out in the dressing room or give injections.
My SIL gave up hospital nursing due to a persistent shoulder injury.....got a good job as an industrial nurse with no heavy lifting and regular hours.

Personally, I think it's time to move on when you come to realise that nothing will really change for the better, not even the new generation of nurses. The same attitudes, ambitious personalities and ruthless egos are just recycled year after year.

Initially my sister in law got a job at the blood bank. Then she took a position at a nursing home and I think that really made her feel burnt out.
Now she will need some good nurses to help her with third stage cancer. Not too soon I hope.

That is sad Joono 😞
I left when I had baby number 2. I didn't go back because I started freaking out about blood. I passed out on the floor in the Emergency room when a doctor asked me to assist while he stitched a guys hand.
That was the last job I held outside our family business.
