If I believe what Scott Morrison and Tony Abbott are telling me now as the reasoning behind not keeping Australia informed 

I would believe that the drop in numbers would be due to the Coalition and all their echos...

no longer shouting out ... this number of boats arrived this week ,see it on our billboards, read about it in the media ,listen to us.This many boats and this number of people have made it successfully through .This Rudd/Gillard Government is doing nothing to stop this.

now our new Government tells us that doing the very same thing they did in a HUGE way while in opposition would encourage people smugglers ....

charming of them or anyone then to knowingly encourage people smugglers (illegal activity)  and use asylum seekers for their own political gain.
