Photo Album question

I have most of my old pics on the computeer, but miss the feel of having a physical album.

So I am going to print them off on special paper.

Question is - what paper do you put between each page, is it tissue or another kind?

Suggestion

Take them to Harvey Norman and get them printed off when they have the "special".

I THINK harvey Norman still use the Chemical process printers. They did last year.

Cheaper, quicker and last longer.

If you are going to do it yourself, make sure the paper is acid free.......that will preserve your photos forever.

I don't think it was tissue paper exactly.

I printed out some photos to enter in the local show a few years ago. I had a good canon pixma printer. The photos came out beautifully. I had my favourites pinned to a corkboard. After a year or two the ink just dried up all crackly like, and fell off! Smiley Surprised I was left with blank photo paper pinned to the board Smiley LOL  Admittedly I lived in an extreme climate, with temps inside reaching above 50 at times and around the 40 mark frequently through the summer.

I make photobooks now. I think the quality probably depends on the price you pay. I don't pay much Smiley Very Happy but I'm happy with what I get.

I did see an ad somewhere recently where glossy paper was available. I think that would be nice but probably a lot more exxy.

If you have plenty of time and plenty of data gigabytes it's worth considering Smiley Happy

I print my own, I do scrapbooking and keep them all in acid free albums.

I have a pixma canon printer and always use canon photo to print out the photos and they are just like you get if printed elsewhere,.

Side topic really but I know what you mean it's not nearly as pleasurable to view photos on a screen as it is to browse an album.
