In regard to the snow photo of the outdoor cafe, I think there is under floor/patio heating.

TCM there is a fairly simple and in expensive solution to data loss.

In my opinion the best solution is to have a RAID level 1 array as you data storage, the data is written to 2 separate drives simultaneously so that if one drive dies the other still has all the data. You then replace the dead drive and the array gets rebuilt so that you always have a mirror image of all your data.
