i bought this plant (this year) from a Butterfly preservation group. I believe it is called milkweed? 

The other day a butterfly chased a hummingbird away from the plant. 🙂

Here's a picture of Newman. Named for the character on Seinfeld 'cause he had a definite attitude.lol He showed up on our doorstep a week after we were married. I think he was only two months old, tops....that was three years ago. A gift from the big cheese.

What happened to Poddster?  I haven't seen him post on his own thread for a while.

Took this picture of a butterfly the other day. I think it came out pretty well considering I zoomed in on it with my point-and-shoot rather than use the macro mode which I haven't even bothered to try yet (tsk-tsk), Usually zooming in on something not that far away makes the image blurry.
