Has anyone had experience with advertising in the police association publications?
If yes, have you found it successful or worthwhile?
Thanks

Yes I have haerd of it. I personally would not do it, however it's up to you entirely.
The best form of advertising is Social Media such as Facebook.
If you dont have a Facebook account for your business, I would get one. It will drive traffic to your Ebay page.
Give it a shot and see how you go. 🙂

Yes and I suggest you do your research. It is a great magazine to support however if it is not distributed near or in your area than it is a waste of your money if you are looking for advertising. The first year I did it and discovered that it was not distributed in my area and therefore whilst it was nice that I supported them it didn't do anything for my business.
Before you agree, ask where the edition with your ad in it will be distributed, ask them to name towns if need be because sometimes they might be sitting in a completely different area to you, and ask how many are distributed in your area. If they can't provide that say no.
It is a genuine publication (I have friends in the police force) but from memory it only goes to union members or certain members. Ask who gets it
Thanks. If I go ahead it will be national across all editions.
At the moment I'm put off by the pushy say anything sales person.

Yep, that's the big question.

I would advise against as once you advertise in one of these journals then they all come knocking on your door and most of them are all connected and have offices on the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast in Qld.
Having experience firsthand though my work the mistake of advertising once and speaking with a few others who were subsequently caught out I wouldn't.
The magazine is distributed everywhere and when we finally got a hold of it there was no advertising from our business in it.
