Kevin Rudd trails in his own seat in shock poll finding for Labor

Exclusive: Guardian poll finds Rudd struggling to hold previously safe Queensland seat of Griffith

find this hard to believe, and Liberal strategists aren’t expecting to knock off Rudd - and yet...:

Kevin Rudd is trailing Liberal rival Bill Glasson in his apparently safe Brisbane seat of Griffith, in alarming news for Labor from the latest Guardian Lonergan poll.

Glasson, who is running an intensive local grassroots campaign, leads Rudd on a two-party preferred ... The poll’s margin of error is 4%...

Bottom line: the poll is consistent with many others suggesting Rudd’s return is unlikely to deliver the swag of Queensland seats Labor needs to survive.

This appalling person has threatened war veterans that if they "bag" him they'll "get nothing"

This all falls into perspective as to the despicable character of this person.

His ad hominums attacks on Abbot is well documented . An aggressive rude bully who is well known for his foul language & bullying tactics.

Poll: Rudd could lose his seat

All things are possible - it wouldn't be the first time a PM lost his seat, would it?

How embarrassing

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I can't help wondering how Krudd's over inflated narcissistic ego would handle being rejected by his constituents?

A Monumental Meltdown perhaps?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

What is it they say about Rudd?? Oh yeah,  the more you see of him the more you detest him.

So his electorate are finally seeing him for what he is. A Lathamesque bully  hidden behind a Milky Bar Kid persona.

He just couldn't squirm out of that appalling behaviour against the make up artist, we could all see he was making up his excuse on the run, "who moi?"  what a nasty piece of work he is.

I hope he does lose his seat (we can only hope) so this appalling person is obliterated from the political scene.

Lets face it they're both jerks

I wonder if the make up artist will ever get work again?

Truth I wanted rudd to win but I think we all know what a pompous A he is

The today show admitted it hadn't been the first time he's been rude to make up artists

Clair, The Today Show is made up of Murdoch media wannabe's, the makeup artist was looking for publicity, now that she's got it she's apologised.
