Nero, that is so unfair.  Chrissie was working for Jenny Craig and has tried so hard.  Your comments are just really hurtful.

I thought Chrissie looked nice tonight on the Project and I thought she looked slimmer.

 People like Chrissie Swan should stop promoting and celebrating her obesity.

I'm quite sure she, and anyone overweight in the media have  never done that. I do recall something about being comfortable and not stressing about having weight issues. Obviously you don't get the difference. You want them to hide and only allow stick figures on our screens, in movies? Hardly real life.And when they do succeed, even partly (think Madga) what impact my they have on others self esteem.

As to the smoking thing. Well, I know of some people who's kids are now in their 50's who smoked like chimneys and the offspring haven't had any health problems. Didn't know any better, luck of the draw. 

The intrusive papparazzi, Well they seem to say that the public wants it, so we do a public service. Bet the paycheck doesn't hurt either.

It's disgusting to smoke or drink or use drugs when pregnant.

It's NOT hard to give those things up for 9 months and anyone who does it putting an unborn baby at risk of damage.

Simply a selfish action from a selfish person.

aspie*mum. Clearly you have no understanding of addictions. Addictions by nature are completely selfish and it is not as simple as just stopping the addiction for 9 months

Actually I would go one step further. If you are addicted to anything then do not even consider becoming pregnant

Chrissie can turn on the tears on TV and radio at the drop of a hat. Obesity is her main problem, smoking is secondary.

when i was working in a bank many years ago everyone smoked in the workplace and many women smoked while pregnant and all had perfectly healthy babies.   i am not or ever have been a smoker myself and don't condone smoking while pregnant but there are far worse things she could be doing.  whether she smokes or is obese is her own business and no one else's.  also not all overweight people are sedentary or unhealthy.  far too much emphasis is placed on people's outward appearance.  the blight on society are those who are ugly on the inside.

I could say that a person with a child that  accidently falls into a relationship is a selfish person....  I think that people with children should be mindful of whom they bring into their child life.
