President of Uraguay donates 90% of his salary to charity

Jose mujica earns $12,500 as the President of Uruguay and donates all but $1,250.....he is either really wealthy outside of politics or not a pig at the trough like our pollies who average with entitlements half a mill .

States he is wealthy enough to give away 90% of his salary.

I remember the excuse for our pollies being paid so much is we would loose their skill and knowledge to the public sector......bahahaha.....some people think too much of thheir worth.
