A quadriplegic has found an anonymous note on his BMW because he parked in a handicapped bay.
London's Daily Mail reports that Matt Milstead parked in had parked in the spot before going to play a game of wheelchair rugby at the YMCA in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
When the 36-year-old returned to his car, he found the nasty handwritten note in the door handle.
"I would love to see your wheelchair! I'm guessing male 25-35 years professional who thinks he's got the world by the ass. But I could be wrong," the note said.

Mr Milstead, who works for the Social Security Administration, said he was shocked by the note.
"I was kind of puzzled why he would leave this note and never met me, didn't know if I was in a wheelchair or not, but he just assumed I was just someone who tried to steal a close and convenient spot," he told Wood TV 8.
His wife Leslie was furious and vented on Facebook.

"It's kind of ironic the guy was trying to right a wrong. He assumed some jerk had parked in a handicapped spot that shouldn't be, and so he was really trying," Mrs Milstead said. "He probably felt like a good person and thought he was doing a good thing, but the problem is he was wrong."
On Facebook she wrote: "He is a quadriplegic, which for him means that he can no longer move his legs or his fingers in either hand. He has no grip. So, if you are willing to give him your functioning hands and legs for the rest of your life in exchange for his 6-year-old BMW and handicapped parking pass, I'm sure he'd make that trade."

Where does it say that? coz' the whole story is based on that.
I didn't say it did say that....but I take it there was a sticker. Why else would they run the story? Lateral thinking? Common sense?

You would only run the story if the guy didn't put a sticker up. Common sense thinking suggest the guy wouldn't have written the note if the sticker was up.

Lots of people misuse those stickers.
I thought the story worthy, they seem a lovely couple and good on him for getting on with life.

I would assume the guy in the opening post would always have a diasbled sticker on his car? He certainly is eligible for one so why wouldn't he display it?

Video clip in the following link states Matt Milstead had his handicapped placard on his car.

if he had the pass there, it would follow any reasonable person would see that and not have written the note. So either he's blind or he was delusional.
If that was the case, then the story is not news worthy because why would you one up on someone that's not totally there???

The issue IMO was the BMW....jealously

If that's the case, what's the point of the story if the note writer is a moron or delusional? Why bother telling someone they're already a moron when it's clear they're a moron.

Watch the video clip and decide for yourself afterwards.

The note writer assumed a disabled person wouldn't have a very nice car like that, nor would they be parked outside a gym. It was outside the gym where Mattt was playing wheelchair rugby.
