If the Greens get too much power, they will seriously hinder development in Qld and therefore job creation.

Unless of course it's for putting wind turbines up !

Why is it that the LNP always think it's because they haven't "sold" their message well enough? Is it just pure arrogance? The message they should be getting is that their policies are well and truly on the nose. Not what Australians want

Looks like Katter might get 2 seats which is good.

Queensland election live: huge swing to Labor, Newman loses Ashgrove

Queensland may be headed for a hung parliament with the Labor Party securing a massive swing that has ousted Premier Campbell Newman from his seat of Ashgrove.

The Premier called Ms Jones to congratulate her own on winning back the seat she lost to him 2012.

With more than 40 per cent of the vote counted, ABC election analyst Antony Green said Labor had secured a swing of 13 %

....For Labor to form government and leader Annastacia Palszczuk to become premier, the party needs a universal swing of more than 12 per cent
