Newman will keep his seat............the residents of that area are looking at the silver lining he has promised them.
I doubt Labor will get in........................... currently I am looking at the independants in my electorate but not impressed thus far.

ummm... I don't care if he loses his seat or not - just watching with interest
Az he's made a lot of promises to his electorate hasn't he?? something like $20 million dollars worth?

20 million dollars?? that's nothing compared to the millions Labor are promising.
Under federal Labor we became immune to anything less than a billion, like Kevin dropping a cool 20 mil here and 50 mil there on his mad traverse of the globe and Julia could do nothing about it so 20 mil? chicken feed.
If Queenslanders vote for indies and PUP they will get what they deserve, unworkable government.

Be even more interesting if no-one voted at all LOL

......we already have an unworkable government, it will just be a different one.
That money is only for his electorate, an already affluent area.

nice to see the LyingNP still spouting the same old tired lies about Labor,
If Labor’s 5.5% jobless rate and 4% growth was Qld “in ruins”, how do you describe LNP’s 7% jobless and 2.3% growth?

I don't mind our democratic process, people have the right to vote for whoever they want to vote for..... that's fine by me... if they vote for minor parties because they're disillusioned with the two major parties. so be it

Greens how-to-vote cards are strongly encouraging voters to put the LNP last.....
Queensland Greens lead spokesperson Charles Worringham said the Greens will be running in every seat, but their priorities are more about removing the current party from office.
"The Greens are working to kick out the Newman Government, which has aggressively attacked our environment, public servants, civil liberties and is threatening our public assets," Mr Worringham said.
