The LNP will win I think.A 12% swing to gain office is unprecedented. If they do get in,it will have to be with the support of the minor parties (a coalition). It will be interesting to hear the responses of state and LNP politicians when the result is decided

I think you may be right.
I'd like to hear the reasons that Labor didn't get in.
I think maybe a couple of factors where if they had pushed harder they might have pulled it off.
Here is a genuine question.
Do you think have a female leader of the Labor party will hinder or help Labor ?
Reason - some men won't vote for a female leader but most women will vote for a male leader,
especially one that they like.
Just a thought.

I don't think there's ever been a 12% swing before has there? I would be suprised if any party could muster a swing that big.... that would be a reason for the Lab party not gettting in, but I think they will come close and pick up quite a few seats
I don't think a female leader of a Labor party would make any difference as the men who won't vote for a woman are usually LNP voters anyway

One of my girls was stunned to see other voters deciding on the spot who to vote for................. not just who... but which party!
