Queensland Politicians Get a Sweet Pay Rise

Well, as most Queenslanders know we have all had to pull our belts in one notch.

Increase of electricity charges on July 1st by 22.6 %

Rates up all over Queensland

Thousands of public servants loosing their jobs and the cuts are still happening.

Queensland politicians will get a $57,000.00 per year pay rise.

Simply unbelievable. And their justification is that they haven't had a pay rise since 2009. And wait for it................10's of millions in pack pay.

There was some mention of 'name and shame' anyone who applied for back pay even though technically it is their right to do so.

My group certificate came today. I didn't even earn their pay rise. 😞

Here in the ACT our pollies are not getting a pay rise this year. 

Also our electricity is only going up 3.47% from the 1 July.
