Apparently the quote feature is not there for us to allow others to know to whom we are replying. (I am unsure exactly why it is there.)
Something to do with what we believe :^O
While (the mods) understand that I believe my post did not violate any of the eBay Board Usage Policies, some posts can be removed due to previously posted content that I might have quoted in my reply.
Each poster is responsible for all material contained within a post, including any quoted material.
a single post removal does not necessarily impact my standing in the community.
Many who receive one of these educational emails, take time to review the eBay policies gain insight from the experience. In most cases, members never receive additional warnings once they are familiar with the community policies.
I think I had forgotten what can happen..... but rather than email anyone, I thought I might ask here.... is the educational email considered to be a violation? as in added to the tally for a possible holiday?

Óbvious to you but no-one else including the person who asked the question?

looks that way.:8}
I don't have ulterior motives for anything, mostly I do things on the spur of the moment without thinking it through.....if I gave it a lot of thought, I would never post threads.... never ever....

You mean to say the thread was opened on the spur of the moment? well ok fair enough, ive done that heaps of times.
But, Isnt it obvious to all long timers a received mod notice (an educational email,... as you put it) goes towards your record?
This is where ive added it to 3

I don't know joz, about educational notices being added on to ones record.. I don't get that many of them and of those some are oveturned/
That is why I am reading this thread, thinking I might find out something I haven't heard of before.

I understand you been posting on these boards for many years A-3, Are you trying to tell me you didnt know mod notices (slaps) doesnt add closer to a sanction? (another mark in their black book)

everyone knows about warnings and violations, especially if you've been posting for years.

I had one some time ago that said it was educational.... and was not to be considered a sanction. I no longer have it as I don't generally keep them, so the wording may not be accurate. .... this particular one mentioned in the OP was a bit different to the usual.
