I think it has always been present but QC (testing) has improved and perhaps at times a little over the top.
I wouldn't think of it as a negative but rather, it's wonderful how effecient we have become.

I would have thought that in this day and age, these problems could be easily avoided, to me it's like shutting the gate after the horse has bolted
Not sure sure re " living like kings ( or queens ), many people dont know where there next meal is coming from or how they are going to pay their bills ...... thats if they even have a home to go at night
