Unintentional renovation. A gyprock wall in the bedroom wouldn't take a hook for a picture. The wall was "drummy". Investigation revealed the shower on the otherside had been leaking for years and had rotted wall studs. Ended up with a new bathroom.
And the picture looks lovely.

Sometime ago the Ex decided to change the washer on the tap in the bathroom basin. We ended up having to have a plumber to repair the mess. He had broken the basin but still hadn't been able to remove the tap.

nothing in our house is square, and it keeps moving. Sometimes you can hear it cricking as (cross between a creak and a click) it moves.
I tried nailing a hook thingy in to the gyprock to hang a clock. Thankfully the clock hides the rather large hole I put in the wall
I haven't told Grumblebum about that one. Yet.

I have had a few......... but for now, I am doing some small ones myself, assisted by my daughter and her OH occasionally and on Saturdays, my sister and her partner help with garden work.
We hung a new mirror in the ensuite (it was waiting for 5 years) and my efforts with the stud finder (sodding thing) left me with quite a few holes above the mirror, my next project is to remove the old kitchen and tiles and retile the floor.......................

No, but we have a myriad of TV programmes highlighting them........................
