What do they mean by 'broken seal'? I wouldn't have thought the boxes could be sealed till after voting finished - at 6.00 pm

Official at the polling booth told me that budget for this re-run blown out to over $22 million.

There was a security guard posted to watch the ballot box/es from 7.30am this morning-and same for ALL polling centres throughout WA today apparently.

I count about 740 polling centres= 740 paid secuity guards at Saturday penalty rates.

Don't know if security guards were employed at say, Nursing Homes to guard the ballot boxes etc......

I know they had a stuff-up at one of the nursing homes a few days ago and everyone had to vote again.

I haven't been able to find anything further yet on Mahogany Creek - all the info so far appears to come from the one website - which I think is a personal blog page
