Have a song from the Big Rock Candy Mountain:-
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

You're very talented.
Had it been me, the photo would have been of the string hanging out of my mouth, and the caption "Too good to share".

Those look fantastic!
How did you make them? Would you mind sharing the recipe?

You know Erica as a rule I normally would but these are to become a part of my new business idea and I've gotta stay secretive with this one, hope you dont find that rude... Any suggestions for a name for a cafe/lolly shop would be appreciated though 🙂
And a general question, why cant I post a photo anymore? I guess this topic has already been covered, but it's annoying that they will only post as jpeg...

I'm so full of myself lol I really thought this product was going to go really well at the market... As it happens I could only sell them if I went around sprooking them. Which was dissappointing.
Ya just melt rock candies in metallic cookie cutters in a relatively low oven 140-170 for about 10 mins or so. You have to be careful not to burn them. As they go from being not quite ready one minute and burnt the next lol. Make sure you use good quality parchment paper and grease the cookie cutters really well. Oh and make sure they are fully cooled before you try to pop them out of the cookie cutter. This would be the trickiest part because they are quite delicate and have a tenancy to break if your too rough 🙂

Thanks julia 🙂 I was thinking they make an excellent alternative to candy canes. Rock candy isn't the most popular treat though...
