Good morning Stringers ![]()
Yesterday was exhausting so only got to attend to some email and that was the extent of my association with the computer!
Don't feel like it but I have promised to do some cooking for a party we are going to this evening. Actually, given the forecast today would rather be staying at home rather than driving up into the hills.
The wind here would blow a dog off a rusty chain ![]()
Hope you are feeling better today Prim - you need a clear head to sort out all that computer garbage lol
Have a happy day all - hopefully will catch up tomorrow

Happy cooking Laney. I am cooking too. I have invited DD and SIL over for a BBQ for Father's Day. We don't usually do something for the boys but as we usually go to lunch for the mums, I thought it was time to make them special for a day ๐

GD just remembered she has to be ready to go to a Pink concert by 5pm tomorrow so I have to have lunch ready very early as it is a long way from my home to theirs and travel will take up much of the day.
I have prepared as much as I can tonight, let's hope I can get the rest ready in time. I have a lemon cake in the oven and it smells divine. All meat and seafood is marinating, fruit platter prepared, and salads made. I bet I don't sleep tonight LOL

Hello everyone!
My day was nice. Went to Bunnings and bought two Ranunculus in little pots so I can plant them and pretend I grew them and that's why I have pretty flowers. Also bought a potted Jasmine because although I am babying my current Jasmine, I think it hates me and will die/not flower just to be a bitch.
Planted a new rose bush last weekend - a Double Delight - it has 4 out of 5 perfume bottles coloured in on the little tag and I want roses with perfume. Why are the bunches of roses at the supermarkets pretty with no scent?
I also bought a lemon tree which I am IN LOVE with! A Meyer lemon tree. It has flowers and mini lemons growing on it already. The flowers smell divine.

Buzz, you are going to have a very perfumed garden ๐
How old is the lemon tree? I only ask because I have a vague recollection that very young trees need the lemons removed so the roots have a chance to develop well and if the lemons are left they use up the nourishment.
I like the vibrancy of the colours in ranunculas, your garden will be very pretty.
You snuk in there Karen but I was able to edit just in time. Recliner sounds the way to go ๐

Buzz, they seem to have sadly bred the scent out of a lot of roses. I hope that one has a nice perfume for you, I know the rose, but i can't remember if it has a scent or not.
Rose and lemon scented geraniums are good for a perfumed garden
