Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

I hope he's OK and comes back soon Clair. I don't know much about their habits

you sort of get a bit attached to the animals and birds that come onto your property regularly

Maybe he has found himself a mob.  I hope so.

I was wondering about ducks because every year we have two ducks arrive and I didn't know whether it could be the same pair.

Just recently only one has been visiting which I thought was sad.  I thought ducks mated for life but they don't.  The male only hangs around until the eggs are laid and then he's off.

Clair he's probably off finding girls, it's spring. I love watching the emus.. After the eggs are laid, the girls all hang in a group, chilling out with friends. They look like they gossip with each other. Meanwhile, the blokes get to sit on the eggs for ages, then spend months with a flock of baby emus following them around. It always makes me smile...and I love those baby emus with their long legs and striped feathers. I always wanted a pet emu but my neighbours said no because it'd make their dog jump the fence to kill it. Stipid dog.

Baby emus are just beautiful.  Well, all baby animals are beautiful but they are just so cute.

Can't remember whether I was in Broken Hill or Flinders Ranges but we were driving on a dirt road that desperately needed grading, we were skimming over the top of the bumps. Well I made my husband stop to look at a mother emu and her babies, man it was bad.

Don't slow down keep skimming over the top of the ridges

That would be a daddy emu and his babies, Clair. The father sits on the egg then raises the children, while mum hangs out in a flock of friends.

Good morning Stringers one and all Smiley Happy

Had to go and see Harry off last night - what a personable young man and what a great sense of humour he has Smiley Wink

Licorice legs is going ballistic here - two pigeons on the see through back patio roof are doing what birds do at this time of the year.  They are SO noisy and LL would like to join in Smiley Surprised

I have brought her inside as her legs are not up to all that jumping at her age Smiley LOL

I love those baby emus too - followed a dad and his charges along a road in the Flinders ranges some years ago now - they were so funny to watch!

Darn theres one piece of paperwork I can't find so far and it's do with the inheritance i got last year. I don't think it's classed as taxable income but you still have to declare it.

Wish me luck in finding it lol
