Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

J*oono the 'strings' (smirk) are quite long so I am having to hang it just above the door frame anyway so that it does not drape on the floor.  You could do likewise.

Thankfully ours is a weatherboard house as I am not really equipped to screw them into brick walls at the moment and duct tape just does not cut the mustard with me lol

They have two colourways - a revolting dark brown one and this one which is cream with just a few yellow 'beads'.  I can forgive a few yellow beads but horror of horror - I have just discovered that they are not wooden - they are impersonating wood lol

All the more reason to get making my own!

Pssssst j*oono - wanna buy some cup hooks?

Hi Iza.  You have a good night too.

I need to get cooking soon as dinner seems to be getting later and later.  It's harder to stick to a routine these days with the boys grown up and people coming and going.

'Routine' is a swear word in our home these days j*oono Smiley LOL

How inconsiderate of whomever left your gate open.  Padlocking your gate could present problems if emergency services need to access your property - we used to have to use padlocks accessible by skeleton keys held by the RFS and the Electricity Commission in days gone by for that very reason.

Seems ridiculous having to put up a sign saying 'please close the gate' - I would be having a word to the Water Corp if in fact your water bill comes in in the next day or so.  Talking of which - are you getting your bills monthly or quarterly these days?

Arrrrgh - I was just completing an editing job and my computer shut down ๐Ÿ˜ž  At least it was only an application form and not a huge document cos I had not saved it Smiley Sad

I was told last time that it would now be read every two months.  I would prefer that they just put a card in my letterbox and I will call it in as I do with the power meter.

I submit my meter reading online and email them a pic of the reading once a year to confirm all is on the up and up.  They won't come in because I have a large dog and I think that is fair enough.

Perhaps I will suggest that to them.

Sounds like a good idea j*oono.

We used to self read our electricity meter quarterly and they would only have to come in once a year to check it.  They were scared of our geese lol.  A photograph of the meter readings would have been much more sensible.

Another birthday down...................I have a six week break until the next one.

14 for tea.................and we got through a 3kg shepherds pie...........and all of the cheesecake.

And then the grand kids and I hid up in the bedrooom while they washing up was done.

And we all sang along to their new favourite song on Youtube............What did the fox say.

They said the old man sitting on the chair reading to his grandson is Poppy.

The swan is concrete.......and one of the children gave it to me years ago.........it has a broken next.........a casualty of back yard football.

I did have two swans................but someone stole one........Cat Surprised

Smiley LOL Flashie that song is a favourite of one of our early morning presenters on the ABC - it is driving some listeners to distraction!

No cheesecake left?

Deb will be disappointed lol
