Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Do they chime the bells all night to keep the devils at bay? I guess one good thing is there'd be no ;\

I'm going out to plant the ;\ tree now. I'll give progress reports 😄

Good afternoon Stringers Smiley Happy

Bloodied but unbowed - I am winning the battle with the fish ferns!

I am going to end up looking like 'The Little Aussie Bleeder' by the time I get them all out thoughSmiley LOL

Arrrrrgh wasn't Norman Gunston cringeworthy!

Going to have to do something about the bleeding though - not a good look when we are going out to dinner lol

Karen I do hope that your ;\ tree fruits bounteously and soon - they risk of running out of them  lol13_a.gif

It had about ten fruit on it, Laney...and four remaining after bumps and falls. It's quite big, probably six feet tall. I might chop off the top to help it to bush out. I planted it near my neighbour's fence so they can nick some, cos I nick their fruit.

I have a fish fern issue too. I asked the small boy if he wanted to pull them out and he said no lol

The ;\ tree is planted! Every time I eat a lemon I'm going to think of the pearl clutching pursed lipped ones 😄

I wonder what happened to Alison, my last lemon tree... It was thriving when I left that house.

Edit to add, I loved Norman Gunston. Every time I see that clip of him on the steps of Parliament House while Whitlam was announcing his departure, I crack up! He was shameless. Not whitlam, loved him for other reasons...mostly for his oratory skills.

Pearls or poppet beads?  The latter I suspect Smiley Wink

He sure was shameless - cringeworthy for me in the sense that despite being so ghastly you just had to watch to see what he was going to come out with next Smiley LOL

A bit like watching a train wreck Smiley Surprised

I am laughing at the memories as I type this lol lol lol

Fish ferns arrrgh - those pesky little balls right along the root system - leave one in a bingo ..... up they come again.  I am going to stand at the ready when they dare to poke their little fronds up again and BINGO - our with my magic weed killer lol

Wise lad has obviously come across them before lol lol lol

He took one look and said no lol, wise little boy.

Yes, poppet beads...haha! Took me a minute to work out what they are, and they're sooo much more realistic, considering the subject, than pearls 😄

The nursery man gave me some free herbs...he told me they're Moroccan but he forgot the name. I'll have to google.,.they have purple leaves.

I think it's Moroccan mint. It's either that, or a Chinese medicinal herb used to settle down a jumpy foetus lmao. I'll have to make tea with it to see if it works 😄 ... If it doesn't, then I'll know it's Moroccan mint.

I have a flower garden and I showed a friend a photo and she said its the ugliest flower garden she's ever seen lmao. I guess that's because it has no flowers...just four gladioli bulbs I got from the reject shop. Surprisingly, they shot up within days of planting, so I'd better go buy some flowers and replace the weeds. The mutant tomatoes are in the flower garden,..,thriving....with ripe fruit. Gawd.
