Hi Stringers 🙂 Sorry, but I still have no news. It was a no-news kind of day.. Just work, which is probably too boring to type here. 

Oh I know! I got an award at work today and the big boss flew up to hand it over... But she was late, so I got sick of waiting and went back to work. A friend got it for me... shame I missed the cake lol. It's one of those inane staff member of the month things, designed to make you feel good when they think you need motivation to stay lol. No voucher, no pay rise,,, just a silly certificate ;\

at the end of the year I'll go into the draw for winning staff member of the year, I guess that means I have to stay for a full year. And the prize? An even bigger certificate :^O

😛 I got it for being "very consientous [sic :^O ] and focused on needs" 

I guess I'll stick it in my résumé next to the Paul Keating reference 😄

I am a bad Nanny.

We had the three eldest grand children again today.

I actually find it easier with three of them...instead of just one.

We were playing hide and seek.

And all of a sudden I could hear our grand daughter let out her "hit by the bus" cry.

She has hit her face on the kitchen door..........and now she has a huge shiner.

When I asked how it happened her brother said it was an accident................and she is saying no different.............so I let it go..........even though I did wonder how it was an accident when he had his hands around her neck.:O

Good afternoon everyone.  Aaawwwww, good on you anyway Karen.  It's sort of nice anyway and better than some of the school certificates that they used to hand out at the Primary school assembly on Fridays.

Things like "much improved behaviour" and Has followed teacher instructions without disruption" type of thing.

Pssst... I reckon they used to give the naughty kids certificates first to try and pull them into line 😄

the other two plants, I can't remember what they are, but they've produced absolutely nothing so far
