Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

It is blissfully cool this morning, even a bit on the cold side.

Merry Christmas Nics. Nothing better than Christmas with family.

Iza, hang in there.

Laney, I hope the weather is cool for your city trip.

Buzz, don't forget the perfect table cloth....dazzling white....lots of starch....8 panel minimum......:)

We are up early to go buy the seafood. We are having a traditional roast for lunch and seafood for dinner. I will be doing food preparation most of the day. Everything else is done. I think this is the most prepared I have ever been. I guess having a few days of leave before Christmas helps.

Have a good day everyone.

We are just back from the seafood and meat shopping. I could not buy my usual corn fed chicken. I am told that because they don't sell well, they don't stock them over Christmas...darn it!

Now to make the gravy and start on the desserts....after coffee

I'm having trouble finding the words I want at the moment ...I just want to say a collective thankyou ,give ((hugs)) if and where needed as well as the very best of wishes for you and your families this Christmas and beyond .It helps each of us I think that we do all recognise that there are unknown things each of us go through in real life behind the scenes  Heart

edit ; If I don't space the emoticons a certain way they don't work ? I'll try again .

That is very nice of you to say Iza.  Wishing you and your family a very happy and peaceful Christmas too 🙂

Karen, I hope you have been to the shops already because it's hell out there.  I had a last minute emergency and I raced down there at 8:30 to beat the crowds.  Too late!  It was packed but I only needed a couple of things and then I used the self serve check out so it was pretty good.

It is still before 10am and yet I already feel like I am getting behind.  Catch you all later.

Round Table Revisited

Hi Stringers 🙂 It was bedlam! But kinda funny seeing heaps of men sitting on chairs outside, or lurking at the end of aisles, waiting for their better half to finish shopping 😄 They made me laugh.

I filled up my trolley and took a look at the checkout queues, so I asked a worker if I could park my trolley and take a break. He hid it behind a chocolate display so I ducked outside for a ciggie and breather...ok not so much a breather, given the ciggie lol

Then I went back in, loaded up a few more things and miraculously, there was a BMI challenged checkout chick-man with nobody waiting. He was right at the end where nobody goes because I've never seen it open before. So I got all my shopping and laughed with the checkout chick-man about all the other full checkouts and he told me he was ducking down so nobody would see him roflmao!

Then I went outside for a coffee and another ciggie to overcome the trauma....called the taxi to take me home...gave him a Chrissie tip for helping me unload...and now I'm quietly disintegrating from the chaos. I think I'll eat some of my Chrissie chocolates, that might help 🙂

Iza, that was a nice Christmas post. I hope yours is a good ne too. Don't feed the pet piggies any pork scraps 😄
