check out these shoes I bought, they're really unusual, sort of a cross between ankle boots & shoes, Maybe not so practical, but I love them

They're great Deb.  That style is pretty much in fashion now.  I saw a young girl wearing something like those but they were in like blue suede would you believe?

That sounds odd but they looked fantastic with her outfit. I love the zips on yours.  You could wear them with lots of things and in spring too.

Good morning Stringsters

I used to be a 'shoe' person but over the decade, with all the cheap imports and badly made shoes flooding the market, it is hard to find a store that sells good quality unless I want to travel miles and I don't. Once I discovered that even some expensive shoes were made from poor quality, thin leather, I changed my buying routines and make do with what I have. Maybe I am just getting old LOL

Hi Prim, I don't know what FMDBS are either? will have to wait for Buzz to come back and tell us. I'm a bt of an Imelda Marcos I'm told by friends, but I do have a favourite shoe brand that I tend to stick to these days

I even tried googling.  No luck.  I am not an Imelda.  I tend to live in my Dublin pony boots in winter, even though I haven't been near a horse since I was a kid and my runners for the gym.

I do have a nice pair of black ankle boots but they probably need replacing and updating a bit now.

I am looking for a new pair of everyday black boots for winter...............it is driving me crazy.......nothing seems to come in a "size 8 fat".

I can not be bothered cooking tea tonight...............so it appears they are going to starve in the Flashie house......

I have done so much cooking over the last few days I am sick of food.................not that you can tell I have done much cooking...............they eat it as quick as I cook it.

A dozen sausage rolls disappeared over night.............a joint effort by our boys no doubt.
