Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

I didn't know they had little baskets Laney!  I will go out later and check it out but the sprinklers that are a problem pop back into the ground when they are not turned on and it's hard to do anything with them.  They are supposed to oscillate but they just stay still.

The above ground sprinklers (little ones) are easy to fix.  Usually you can just remove the sprinkler and shake out the dirt and they are good.

Hi j*oono - ours are the ones which disappear into the ground too but you can unscrew them and lift the baskets out (if they are the same sorts of course).  The 'baskets' are sitting on the kitchen windowsill and the sprinklers are working just fine now lol

Round Table Revisited

Just experienced something new when trying to buy something from the UK.

I have never seen a seller set buyer requirements to 'place a credit card on file' before the purchase can proceed - especially when I was planning on using paypal anyway Smiley Surprised

Guess I am going to have to venture onto the buying boards and ask a question so as not to contravene the CS rules .... it certainly got me hitting the back button and proceeding no further ... was not even permitted to seek an exemption as seller not accepting messages.

Now I've stuffed myself with brunch Laney I thought I would go and have a look.  If a seller has a merchant account then they can set up credit card payments and they don't have to also accept Paypal payments.  It's probably legit but even so, I wouldn't want to place my credit card "on file".  They seem to be jumping the gun.

There is some info on this page if that helps.

No, I would think twice about giving someone my credit card details too Laney

We need to do some repairs to our sprinkler system, must get that underway this week.

Laney, your's sound like the invisible ones they have in the parks here, every now and then you get an up skirt thing going on lol

Did anyone watch the Countdown show tonight? I kind of enjoyed it. Now we're watching Cilla on ABC

Evening folks Smiley Happy

Thanks for that info j*oono - since their advert shows they accept Paypal I cannot see any justification for giving them my CC details. Will go elsewhere.

Glad you agree Deb Smiley Happy

Ours ARE invisible Deb and caught out a friend who chose to sleep on our back patio one night during a dreadful heatwave as she hated airconditioning lol.  She got a very rude awakening when the sprinklers gave her an early morning shower Smiley LOL

Flashie have your OH's holidays finished now? Smiley Sad

Not watching TV here - have to repair to the kitchen and organise dinner.

Came home from the art show with my bank balance undented so I better sing for my supper (and the drawing lol).
