Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

It is cold and rainy today. I don't mind because it is a relief from the past week's weather.

All the plants around here are being 'weird'. The eucalypts are flowering more than I have ever seen. The streets look like it has snowed with the droppings and I have to wash my car each morning or I can't see out the window and the rest of the car looks like it is wearing a furry yellow coat.

We only ever got one or two gardenias on our bush but this year it is covered in them, Our November lilies have shot up dozens of flowerw where we only ever got a couple. The chrysanthemums are STILL flowering and have spread through the garden like a feral weed. It is like everything is trying to flower and seed before they die. I get this feeling that we are about to have very very unusual weather in the near future.

Lots of sad news around.

Have a productive day everyone.

Round Table Revisited

I had one of "THOSE" days yesterday.

Hubby decided everything he touched yesterday was going to break......................including his bike.......the wash basket..........glasses............our car.

We went to Cash Converters to get him a cheap bike for now...........(the children are planing to get him a new one for Christmas)

We got a cheapish bike.............walked back to the car..........and it wont start.

It is booked in at the mechanics again this morning.

I had to push it to get it started...................and it just would not start.

Now I am not usually a person who gets cranky at others a lot...............but I can tell you this really tried my patience.

Here we were trying to push start a car in a car park and a older lady decided to come and park right in front of us as we were pushing the car to get it started...........and some of it was up hill.

Hubby and I looked at each other and shook our heads..............by put the hand break to make on..........and I went over to ask her if she could please park her car somewhere else.

I had to laugh in the end.............It was such a stupid thing to do.

Anyway....................three time..................three long hard times we tried to push start this car...............not one person offered to help...............in fact a small group of three stood and watched............(and I can tell you I mentally smacked the lot of them.)

Well...........we finally got the car started..............(I mentally gave the spectators "THE FINGER" as we left)

But..................it appears I have pulled something in my back pushing that great lump of a car............I am mighty sore today I can tell you.

At leasst today I know the only thing that will get broken is the bank account.

Hi Nic.

I hope your other activities are successful ๐Ÿ™‚

We had a brand new Russell Hobbs kettle that kept shorting out the house, it was weird. It's handy to have a sparky you know to fix things

Morning everyone.

What a day Flashie.  I've been noticing lately that some people do the most thoughtless things, speaking of the lady that parked in front of you.

It's like in the supermarket when someone will block a whole aisle off with their trolley when they are browsing or someone jumping right in front of you at circuit training when you're about to move on. You won't understand that unless you do circuit training.

I don't think anyone means to be like that.  I think we all have too much on our minds these days and it does seem to get worse as you get older.

Didn't Russell Hobbs used to be a top brand Deb?  I bought their mini food processor yesterday and I was surprised it was so cheap.  I've already blown up when blender so we shall see.

I might go and get started on some Christmas shopping today.  I don't know where to start but I have to get my act together.
