Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

It is pretty close to where we had those fires three years ago now Deb - the Roleystone/Kelmscott ones - where 73 houses were lost but thankfully no lives.

It is Deb and from a local perspective so very important in keeping listeners informed.

I usually have ABC local radio broadcasting on my computer when I am in my office and the warnings of 'watch and acts', like in other states, are broadcast every 15 minutes.  If the situation worsens, they dedicate the entire broadcast to keeping people informed ..... but of course you already know that lol

Yes, I think they're they're great, we were listening yesterday when BIL was under threat and they're always correct unlike some of the other broadcasts

Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

At last I can post. I have been able to sign into the boards but not able to post, not sure why. I kept getting a message about 'silverlight?' and the interminable circle going around and around.

A belated Happy New Year to all.

The forecast was for a very bad bushfire season and it seems we have it. Such terrible damage in Adelaide (and in one of my most favourite spots on this planet, the rolling Adelaide Hills), and now WA ๐Ÿ˜ž

We are going away for a few days but hopefully, on a tablet and in another area, I will still be able to post.

I hope you all keep safe, take care everyone.

Some days 24 hours are not enough............and today is one of those days.

Our Grandson has a birthday coming up and wants a dinosaur/robot..............and I have not been able to find him one yet...............they seem to be popular..........and sold out.

I still have Target and Toyworld to go................but it can wait until tomorrow................I am all shopped out for today.

I have all the grandchildren on Wednesday............and that is the day the boys mates come around.

It gets kind of noisy that day..............so I thought I might enjoy the peace and quiet this afternoon.

The basket on ironing can stare at me all it wants..............I am not doing it............so there.....Cat Tongue

This is what he wants..................Zoomer.

I just had a look online Flashie and Big W stock them too.  Have you tried them yet.

I just saw off the builders maintenance man and I'm not too unhappy with his visit. He has me convinced that the house is not going to fall down. Even so, he has agreed that they will send someone around to do all the patching and prepare the walls for painting or touchups. Painting is up to us.

The particularly bad crack he is having a more permanent fix done on that and it will be pinned. Don't ask me what that is but they will insert a rod or something.

Anyway, gotta get out now and buy supplies for dinner. It is currently 42.3 degrees so I'd say it will be salad.
