Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Morning Stringers Smiley Happy

What an amazing storm last night - never seen lightning like it and the rolling thunder went on all night.  The sound and light show beat any fireworks display and we sat out on the back verandah watching it all around us.

We even got some rain but not sure how much as sleep had eventually overtaken us and we didn't hear it - even on the tin roof

New water heater delivered early this morning - now just waiting for plumbers to arrive to instal it.

Exciting time for your grandie Flashie - scary how quickly the time flies though isn't it.

Will look forward to a full report from you after day 1.

Great show wasn't it Laney.  It knocked out our internet and tv though but I was ready for bed anyway. The garden is loving it.

Thanks goodness my son rang me not long ago before I saw the story.  He is just starting his 3rd year electrical apprenticeship.  He is often out at the Galleria shopping centre and other shopping centres as his company do airconditioning maintenance and work.  There was an accident at the transformer when another electrical team were working and an explosion killed one worker and two others severely burnt.  It makes me feel sick to know that those families are going to be devastated.  Work place accidents are so awful that you can go to work and you are just doing your job and then not go home again.

He did the right thing calling me to let me know that he wasn't there today.

We shut everything in the house down j*oono as the lightning strikes have been far too close in the past

Thank heavens he thought to call you before you heard the news!  How fragile life is - the poor family of that fellow who was killed.  You say goodbye to them at the front door fully expecting them to return in the evening.  Too, too horrible to contemplate them not returning.

Quite a few in hospital in very serious conditions too Smiley Sad

Those sayings - never go to sleep on an argument or never miss an opportunity to tell the ones you love you love them - sure holds true!

Very sobering
