Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.

Maybe they weren't drunk Flashie.  It might have just been the sugar rush from all those muffins.

What a rotten job.  Is there a machine that they can hire to dig it all out for them?

Oh it was the alcohol.............I have seen the pictures.

These mystery bus tour thingies the young ones do go to 5 different pubs.........and you get a voucher for a free drink at each one..............but you have to buy a drink to get the free one...........so that is 10 drinks that I know of..........................and our boys do not drink beer.

The house is an old one..............and on a hill...............with no driveway.............only a small path with steep steps..............so all dirt has to be dug and wheeled out over the garage where hubby has built a ramp.............the skip is out on the front street.

There is no access through anyone elses yard either....................it is not a family friendly house.

So tonight it was The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.  I love that move.

I think I will have to round up my sisters to see the new one at the cinema.

I was following my brother in law and his daughter today as they took part in the Rottnest swim. Four man team. Apparently this year was a real challenge but they did so well.  6hrs and 29 minutes.  I have a feeling that my niece will tackle it on her own in a year or two.  She is still in high school but she did the Rottnest swim.

It is a bit of a stinker here today too...............roll on winter.

If we are lucky we might get a thunderstorm later though.

Last night we left going for our walk until  later because it was so hot...............it was dark when we were on our way back.

Gee some people are stupid.................I neaerly got ran over by a guy on his push bike..........no lights........no helmet............just all of a sudden he was there................hubby called him an idiot.

It was on a wooden bridge where bikes are not even suppose to be..........all he had to do was say.........coming through.................anything..........................but nope.........................nothing...............he just rode on past.

I doubt we will get a walk in today.................I wont go walking when it is as hot as it is now.

Iam glad I decided to cook a chicken for tonights tea last night.......................just need to make some potato salad to go with it.

(gee................isn't this an exciting post................Cat LOL.)

I am so looking forward to Autumn Flashie.  Not long now.  It is very pleasant today but on Tuesday we are expecting 39 degrees again.

I'm jumping on the latest fad today and trying slow cooked pulled pork.  I got the pork shoulder from Coles which came with a barbecue chilli glaze and I'm not sure whether to use their sauce or a recipe I found on the net which sound really nice.  Decisions.

it's way too humid for walking here too Flashie.

Good luck with it Joono, none of us like pork here, so I've never cooked any

Which way did you decide Joono?.............I like pork but find if it is  not cooked properly it can be a bit dry.

Gee it got hot here today.............37 according to my thingie in the gazebo.............thank goodness all my guinea pigs survived.

I only have three left now...............we lost Nutella a few weeks ago..............she was well over five.........so I am presuming it was old age................it is really hard to tell with guinea pigs..........usually the first indication that they are unwell is when you find them dead.

Hubby decided to get in the grandchildren's pool with them when he got back from his brothers place today..........the kids thought it was great...........Poppy was the shark chasing them around the pool.

That's so hot for you Flashie!  Your husband must have really needed a cool down after working in that.  It would have been a bit too much.

Poor Nutella.  I really liked the name too. Guinea pigs don't have a huge lifespan do they but they are cute little things.

I decided not to use the Coles marinade.  I tasted a bit of it before I added it and was not keen so I did a variation of one I found on the net for a balsamic honey one.  It tastes really nice but it is quite strong.
