Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  Sorry about poor little Miley Flashie.

Your day sounds good Nics.  All I've got on today is putting my house back together.  The family/dining/kitchen area is all finished with new paint on the ceiling walls and the skirting boards and it looks so much cleaner and brighter.  Even the alfresco ceiling was given a freshen up.  Before the furniture goes back I need to clean the backs where it had been against the wall and give it all a spider surface spray.  The webs behind the big dressers were a bit of a breeding ground.

The shutters and venetians have already been cleaned. I won't recognise the place!

Next weekend the rest of the house gets started on.

Good morning Stringers

Sounds like all is going to plan with the house painting j*oono - sounds super.

Nics, you deserve a 'stringer award' for being our social butterfly - you sound in good spirits

Flashie - 12 kms OMG.  Sorry to hear about the loss of Miley Smiley Sad

It's all been happening in Freo and environs this past week.  We have Sculptures by the Sea up at Cottesloe and Freo will have their very own Sculptures by the Sea at Bathers Beach starting next week.  Preparatory work has already started on that - will try and get some pics over the coming weeks to share.

This week we have the amazing 'flyboarding' happening there - if you havn't heard of it, google 'goflyboard' and see for yourself. Apparently they have already been a happening thing in Port Melbourne - I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me lol

Last but not least, down at South Beach over the weekend we had an attempt on the Guiness world record for the greatest number of skinny dippers at one time .... no photos of that though Smiley Embarassed

Despite all the above, a slower than normal week here for me makes a nice change.  Looking forward to it and the weather is looking pretty perfect for doing very little

It's all go in Freo at the moment Laney.  Did you make it to the chilli festival?

I was listening to them talking about it on the radio and I thought gee, I could really go for some paella and chilli mussels right now.

Ahem... what did you mean when you said we had an attempt at the skinny dipping record?

Haha why the face?  I love the old Strogg.

Dinner is coming out of a jar tonight because I'm exhausted.  Outback Spirit Coconut chilli and lemon myrtle chicken and rice.

Dinner is a bit of a problem lately with one son doing evening TAFE classes and the other one is only here on selective nights so I've been trying to stick to one pot dinners.
