from a shelter??

Yep.............a rescue cat.
He is the same age as Squishy..............he is used to other cats............loves children.
his only down fall is he is fussy about his food.
He seems to be settling in fine..............Squishy sniffed him and then left him...........not really interested at all.
I am surprised they got another cat.......but the little two missed having a cuddly cat..............Squishy is not a cuddly cat at all.

Good on them Flashie. Squishy is a lucky cat being adopted into such a nice family. His name says he's a cuddly one

I guess the footy outcome was as most predicted. Once there was a huge gap I stopped watching as I don't really follow that footbal except I now watch the Swans with OH and I thought I might enjoy watching the final.
The cat looks quite content Flashie. Its a positive that the other cat is not jealous.
We were going to head for the city and have lunch somewhere outdoors tomorrow but as it is going to be so hot we have decided to go out to dinner tonight instead. A little bit of air con is needed after such a hot day.
Have a good night everyone.

Gillon McLachlan Deb: a crow-eater ![]()
That may explain it although at least we got a dose of Mike Brady and Up There Cazaly ..... wouldn't be a GF without THAT these days.
Have officially hung up the boots for the season ................ bring on the tennis ![]()
Enjoy your dinner Prim - a wise move given the temps you have all been having over east.

Good morning Stringsters ๐
Dinner was a bit of a disaster Laney. I saw a section on Sydney Weekend about the restaurant. The food looked divine, the owner extolled the food and restaurant's virtues and it really did look great.
Now this is a very expensive eatery and we went with the hopes of having a superb dining experience. The menu had descriptions only an expert would understand but we waded through it and chose our meal.
After a small taste of each, I could not eat any of my entree or main. OH ate his but grumbled throughout (and this man will eat just about anything). I won't bore you by detailing the rest of the problems but suffice to say we were not happy campers.
Now we are not complainers and were prepared to pay and leave but as we left, the owner made the mistake of asking how our meal was. OH told him in full. Owner said, 'well don't pay", so OH said 'OK but we had a wine and we need to pay for that'. Owner's reply was "I don't want your money", so we just walked out. LOL
