The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Things will settle back down into a normal routine after school goes back next week.

I am not good at just sitting around............. I used to enjoy it before I lost weight...............but not any more.

Waiting waiting waiting.........still not more than a drizzle of rain...................grumble grumble.....

Both boys are at work and hubby is busy cleaning up the painting stuff ..................so the grandson and I are going to do some cooking.................(well me...........he is playing with his wrestlers)

Hopefully I can hide some of it in the freezer so it lasts longer than a day.

I have my first batch of tomato sauce for the year on.

Apples cooking for mini apple pies...................(yummmmmmmmm)

And a chicken mince loaf for sandwiches.

I do more cooking now than I ever did.............it is the only way I can eliminate salt completely from hubby;s diet..............(well nearly all salt)......................it is hard to find exciting food that has no sugar or salt that four can/will eat.

I hope your ankle is a bit better today Deb.

I look after his health..........apparently our son is looking out for hubby's fitness.

This was delivered today...........and it is hubby's birthday this weekend............it could be an interesting BBQ......

we have rain- I think you do too Flashie, hopes its falling in the areas where the fires are

Most of the heavy rain was in the North of the state............but not where they need it most.

It is bucketing down where hubby and I stayed last weekend..............glad we stayed then and not now................not that I mind the rain..............I love it..................just not when we go away.

I have our grandson today...............he has a bit of cabin fever I think.

It is just wet enouogh not to be able to go outside..................all the street lights are on.

I have some more cooking to do for hubby;s birthday BBQ this weekend....................I have a feeling we will be having it inside.

Back later..............I can hear thunder.
