Good morning, although it still feels like the middle of the night!
It's going to be a kind of delightful controlled chaos today where I'm supposed to be in two places at the same time but vee haff vays .... and besides that, there are things that can take care of themselves!
About those buns ... I'm going to be making not-crossed buns this year; ..... .... they keep well in the freezer and our friends seem to like them a lot, so weeks after Easter they are still gobbling them down.
Have a great day and hope it is cooling down over there, certainly is here xx

Hi Tas... i like the idea of not crossed buns

I've been waiting to see if the kitties returned, looks like they may have rehomed themselves.
Can only hope this is a good sign.
Whatever the out come you did your very best for them and that's all you could do.

Nothing wrong with raiding the buns Debra, they are quite a treat and not too unhealthy, better than candies ..
I'd forgotten to ask about the cats, apologies for that (thanks for the reminder creativecrisis). Hope they are okay and doing well. Most likely on a different verandah for a while and you just might see them again xx

Well the grandchidren had a great sports day today.
Our yougnest grandson has a rather competitive streak in him.............so he loved today......and was rather proud of his three ribbons he won.
Our eldest grandson managed to loose both his shoes in his 200m race............(I have no idea how)...........but he does not care.............he cheers on his mates who are running in the lane next to him............he just does not care about winning at all...............(not like his brother)
Our middle grandson does not like sport.................and he just wanted to not come last in his races................most years he tries to pull a sickie on carnival day.............so for him to just compete today is brilliant.
Our youngest grand daughter ran in a teddy bear race..............I got a little giggle watching her...........when she concentrates on something she pokes her tongue out............(just like her great Nan does)
She wanted her Poppy to run in the three legged race...........and he did......(she has him wrapped around her little finger.............he knows she does..........and does not care............they just love each other)

sounds like a good day Flashie
is it your youngest grandson who doesn't like being called 'out' playing cricket?

Good morning ladies
Been busy with rl so haven`t been in here for awhile..just reading back re your cats Deb I was wondering if anyone in your area has gone away for awhile..maybe your cats have claimed a gararge or shed and have been locked in(if so not looking good for them).I have heard this has happened to some friends that I knew.let`s hope that`s not the case..time flies Eva will be 6 weeks this coming Sat and has started to smile..I will post a pic she is gorgeous(I`m not bias tho!!lol)Didn`t do the market yesterday too hot so hopefully next wed will be cooler..we need some rain..Fiona had to get in a load of water delivered over the w/end..
