Hi Deb
Took an early mark this afternoon
We will miss the hot cross buns too
Unlike Prim who never eats them until Easter Sunday, we have been eating them for weeks
The Bakers Delight ones are yummy but I prefer the Mt Lawley ones - it is a 'boutique' bakery over here that distributes to some specialist delis too and they trump the Bakers Delight ones (which is difficult to do).
It is cloudy here at the moment so looks like it is going to be another magic sunset. Wish I had the energy to walk down to the beach and take some pics .... but I don't.
Dreadful news from Belgium ..... ghastly, horrendous ....... and we just heard of another blast at a metro station there too. Difficult not to despair given world events. It certainly makes one reassess one's own priorities.

morning all
Laney, we've been eating hot cross buns for weeks too. Autumn has arrived here, the nights are cooler and the days seem to be getting shorter. I'll miss daylight savings when it ends too.

Because of Easter my work days got moved around this week.
So I didn't have to work a full day today......hubby and I decided to go to Subway for tea and to the pictures.
We went to see Grimsby.................darn good Movie................so funny.............if you get a chance to see it ....do go.
I have managed not to eat any hot cross buns yet.............I want to get some of the stickydate ones for Sundays picnic...........I hope they have some left............every time I go into Woolworths they don;t have any.........and Coles does not sell them.

morning Flashie
Wednesday is usually your busiest work day, glad to hear you made the most of the free time
I've eaten heaps of hot cross buns... we have some of those sticky caramel and date ones in the freezer.
I don't know why, but the traffic around Melb has been terrible this week

Hope all you chocaholics enjoy your Easter Eggs
I am heading into the office to get some 'clear air' and work undisturbed - hopefully will be able to do an hour in 20 minutes (at least for a few hours) lol

Hi Laney
hubby talked me into watching that with him last night... he says he enjoys my commentary
mum & dad don't enjoy each others commentary though, I think they watched it in seperate rooms, mums a passionate Carlton supporter, Dad the Tigers . lol
mum was happy at 3/4 time when we rang therm but somehow I think her mood would've changed by the end of the game
I've already had 2 sticky date and caramel hot cross buns today. Very nice they were too
Glad you've heard from Prim & have a great day!
