We are watching the Military Tattoo...................Top Secret................gawd they are brilliant.

oh was that on tonight.. hubby will be cross he missed that.. his family are pipers going way, way back in time

always the first to be killed in battle, I don't know how they're still here

My Dad played the bagpipes................he was Scottish...........Mum said when my eldest brother was little Dad had to play the pipes with him under one arm................no mean feat I am sure.

Flashie google my surname and pipers and you will see what I mean.. Hubby's brother used to play in the police pipie band... But he is the most recent one... No Jacobite battles for him, thank goodness

Dad taught the bagpies.

Our son came with us on our walk this morning................he kept going bush though to collect tree branches for Ringo..................he loves that bird.

Ringo is turning out to be a bit of a character...................he sits on top of his cage and throws all his toys on the floor and squarks until someone picks them up.

Yesterday the stupid bird put the toilet roll cylinder on his head and tried to walk along the window sill and fell off.

what a lovely rainy day... haven't had one of these for ages, it's not cold though which is great

I've been trying to sort out my wardrobe again... but I give up

It was suppose to rain here..................but not much happened.

So I worked in the garden.............I still have heaps of chillies and capsicums growing.

It was youngest sons last day of holidays today..............as much as I love him I am ready for him to go back to work..................maybe then I can listen to MY music.

Laney should be back soon.

We have a busy weekend coming up................an engagement party...............high tea at a heritage home..............and ten pin bowling............(where no doubt they will beat me soundly ............again)

I really like the idea of high teas in a heritage home Flashie.. that sounds great,, not so sure about the 10 pin bowling though 

today is busy for me but not tomorrow... a birthday party tonight for one of hubby's old work mates. I haven't even met them but he wants me to go

gosh you come across some really awful people on the net sometimes, you find yoursaelf wondering what is wrong with them

I hope you're right about Laney being back soon, she's been away for ages it seems
