Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Good to see you too TGSE Smiley Happy

Seriously though, RL has been hectic BUT putting a few runs on the board and heading in the right direction work-wise.

So much for retirement - think I am working harder but smarter these days lol

How has life down south been treating you?

Hi Laney!  🙂

long time no see, Flashie was just saying the other day how much you and Prim have been missed. I guess works been pretty busy...

Time gets away from us

I just got home and hubby had the footy on... I don't even want to know, what a disaster this year's been for the poor old Tigers

Hi Deb Smiley Happy

Must have been Flashie's ESP Deb .... she does have a 'sixth sense' Smiley Wink

I was thinking about you the other day actually ...... whilst we were having dinner at our favourite Indian restaurant lol

Your poor Tiges Deb and our poor Dockers ....... never mind, there is always next year Smiley Frustrated

Havn't had time to read around as I had hoped to catch up on everything - got lost in a plant catalogue as we are doing some restructuring of the garden after all this rain .... perfect timing and, since we have had a couple of huge tipuanas taken out, lots more areas getting lots more sun.

Strange though - we have almost lost a favourite orange tree and blame a new gas line which was put in for disturbing the roots.  Some restorative pruning coming up I suspect!

No problem Deb, I was organising dinner.

Got a few ideas from the catalogue but no decisions made as yet - looking at the catalogue was just a precursor to going to the nursery.

Not so cold here at the moment but the forecast suggests the cold will be back next week so I was just window shopping really lol.

Hi Nics - like you I have not been around but it sounds like you have been in hibernation anyway- from what you said you have been a bit below par Smiley Sad  Hope you are on the up and up now though

Will leave the op shopping to you and Deb - you are the past masters at that ...... I am not a shopper but still on the lookout for a light shade for the bathroom as it has been without one since a huge clap of thunder shook the house and the shade smashed to the floor in a million piewces.

The bits which fit into the lamp holder have been a permanent fixture in the car but just never got to the antique shops - always something else to do.

Ooh I remember about the light shade Laney, that was ages ago

Nic, are you feeling any better? Shingles takes some time to get over. You and I are meeting up for a coffee in Spring.

Dad isn't too good atm, has really bad arthritis in his knees and can hardly walk.... Old injuries from playing football when he was young.

It was ages ago Deb - just shows what a bad shopper I am lol

Shingles Nics? Ghastly and so painful ...... no wonder you have not felt like doing much.  Poor girl.

Your poor Dad Deb - and the cold weather would not help him either - very debilitating Smiley Sad

WOW what a morning Stringers!

The 'sound' is a mass of white caps and the river as well.  The wind has been gale force and a huge hailstorm hit whilst we were out.  Fortunately not the size of golf balls - more like big grains of rice but piled up everywhere.

Palm fronds down everywhere along the river.

.... and yet Sunday sport continues ...... some very bedraggled spectators though Smiley Surprised

Home, warm and dry and all prepared for a lazy afternoon.

Blissful!
