Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Friends are never far from each others thoughts Deb Smiley Happy

It has been a while - thats for sure .... sorry about that.

Stitches out and pretty well healed given their location.  Still a bit limiting but I was never one to do much praying Deb lol.

Time immobile gave me time to reassess what was important in life - hence the retirement.  We are going to do a bit of wandering along with other things over the next few months but not for some weeks as I have to have some opthalmic surgery first.

Anyway it is a cold night here and a warm bed calls Deb - loively to cross paths again.  Talk again in a day or two.

Good morning friends - Stringers and Non-Stringers  Smiley Happy

Lovely to get up when I wanted to rather than had to this morning particularly since we have been having a cold snap the past few days. I guess winter had to arrive ..... eventually!

What perfect timing for my first official weekday of second retirement ....... Wimbledon commences tonight (local time here of course) so will be able to sit up and watch it until the wee small hours if we want ..... or not as the case may be.  It is times like this that the two hour time difference is a real blessing (sorry Prim)

High blue sky in between occasional showers today.

Caught up a bit with a look around the traps over the weekend - add NOT to Smiley Surprised and you get what I am saying.

Hope you are all well and managing to stay warm Heart

Round Table Revisited

Hi Deb

Like ships that pass in the night but were do manage to catch up eventually.

Not such a good start at the Championships last night ..... ended up giving up and not lasting the whole broadcast.  It was too cold actually, even with the RC on.

Snow down at Bluff Knoll in the Stirling Ranges last night and more forecast ...... the 'WA locals' are going wild and in less than 'snow appropriate' gear brrrrrrrrrrrrr - just in time for the school holidays Smiley Happy

We are heading down to Albany in a couple of weeks time ...... not expecting it to have warmed up so digging out my old winter clothes from my Mountains days.

Hope you are all having a good day - more than a few laughs to be had I see Smiley LOL

~~~~ to Freddie, Nics and Sandy too ~~~~
Too cold to be out today - enjoying shredding all the old paperwork which has accumulated over time ...... small things you say?
Nope - HUGE - and looking forward to reclaiming our dining table on which it is all currently spread.
Gosh I feel sorry for those folks who forked out hard earned money to go to the Championships only to witness overpaid, under-trained and frankly arrogant prats who do not give of their best!
Tomic's attitude is unbelievable!
Perhaps it is also time for the 'players' payments to be reviewed - anyone who does not complete a full match (at least in the first round) should have their payments reduced 'pro-rata'.  Difficult to police I guess but it might reduce the number of players who go into the Championships less than match ready and fit ......  although I suppose some might find a way to 'get around' that sort of ruling too.
Down off my soapbox for the day Smiley Frustrated
Hi Deb
Not a Pat Cash fan (I always thought he was up himself) but Rafter is just such a fantastic role model for those coming through the ranks.
Thanasi Kokkinakis and Jordan Thompson are two to keep our eyes on - if Thanasi can get through this coming 12 months without more injuries - and their attitudes are more 'Rafteresque'.
Feeling quietly pleased with myself - was having problems with the scanner and printer and was tempted to call the techie as I need to attend to some urgent correspondence.  I was alone this afternoon so got down on the floor under the desk and sorted out all the extraneous wiring and found .... the printer was already plugged in but the power was not turned on. DOH!
How embarrassing Smiley LOL
Anyway Deb - hope you were able to keep warm today.  Rain, hail and sunshine here today Smiley Surprised
Catch up later in the week.
LOL at the power being turned off.  It often is something simple like that
Waves to Laney.............good to see you.
I have our middle grandson for today...............he has a cold.
As it is the last day of term and they were only watching movies anyway we thought it was best he spend the day here.
Our SIL got his "P's" yesterday.
He was so proud of himself.
He always thought he would not be a good driver so never tried.
But because our daughter can not drive for 2 years and they have four children he decided to give it a go.
We have a greenlight project in our area, so all his lessons were for free.
50 hours later............and he is on the road.
I bet his photography improves now.
