Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Hi folks and belated birthday wishes to those whose birthdays I have missed Smiley Embarassed

End of the home and away season marked by many Eagurls supporters deigning to barrack for the Dockers to beat Essendon .... love it when disloyalty goes unrewarded lol.  Could not bring myself to barrack for them this afternoon - we will be barracking for Adelaide.

Nic I am happy that the Dockers gave Ross a 5 year contract as he rebuilds the team - you call him arrogant - I see him as having a dry and somewhat self deprecating sense of humour.  It is all about individual perceptions isn't it Smiley Happy

Good to see the Dons in the final 8 but great to see two South Australian and two NSW teams in the mix - after all it is the AFL and not the VFL or even the WAFL.  Your boys are doing well Deb and I have a soft spot for them ahead of the Swans - despite being an ex Sydneysider.

I might have been called one-eyed in the past about things and I guess I am - at least folks know where I stand. Going to be even more so as having cateract surgery in the next few weeks so have had to put our perigrinations on hold for a couple of months.  Tulip Festival at Araluen at the moment - beautiful and King's Park Spring Festival starts during the week - already the wildflowers are looking fantastic.  Driving down the freeway to my hairdresser is a picture at the moment - the roads lined with flowering natives.

Last match at Subi about to start ..... the end of an era.

Hope you are all well - sorry for the scroller but it has been a while since I have been here  ..... that is my excuse anyway Smiley LOL

We have a week`s grace before the big day and I read that Rex Hunt is calling the legend's game on friday night(gotta love Rex he is great and I often listen to him on 3aw).Bit disappointed that we finished  equal top and don`t get a home final, but then it`s all about money and filling seats.Roll on finals.

Hi Ladies Smiley Happy

Like you Deb, I cannot bring myself to say 'Go Eagles' no matter who they are playing - I am sure TGSE understands my position (at least I hope you do TGSE).  There is so much animosity between the two teams here and I could NOT bring myself to barrack for them ....... I am not one to jump on the bandwagon no matter who is involved.

Looking like a beautiful day here - I am wrestling with some excel spread sheets when I would much rather be outdoors.  Local government elections in October and I am doing some voluntary work for a candidate.  I only have a few weeks before I will be unable to assist because of my cataract op - so she is making the most of the limited time Smiley LOL

Anyway ........ back to the grindstone here - hope you are all having good days.

hope we're all still talking to each other over the next few weeks  Woman LOL

good luck with that eye op... I've  heard it's not painful and does make a difference

I say go outside and enjoy the sunshine.. we have none of that here

Deb it takes more than a ruddy football match to stop good friends talking with each other Smiley LOL

It IS good that there are a few teams representing some of our friends - even absent ones Smiley Wink

Spoiler
Just wish the Dockers were in the mix Smiley Frustrated

Not worried about any pain - my boy has had both done so I know what to expect - it is just the inconvenience of having to fiddle with glasses during the changeover period since I am having the second one done a month later ....... hope I will be able to see around corners when they are both done Smiley LOL

Can't leave this work Deb - such a tight time frame ............. anyway - back to it
