Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Hiya Deb

Sounded like you could do with a bit of heat over your way today - the birdcages would have been a bit breezy Smiley LOL

That school accident was horrendous - you think the kidlets are safe at school Smiley Sad

There was another really ghastly thing on the M1 yesterday - an autistic boy ran onto the M1 and his carer chased after him - both were hit by a semi with obvious results.  That poor driver too - no fault of his own and he will never recover from that.

Difficult to avoid the news sometimes .......

It is unusual Deb but good Smiley Happy

The time difference sure impacts on our paths crossing.

Hopefully it will occur more frequently Deb - in the meantime I have to head out and do some shopping .... you know how much I love that!

Catch up again soon

Well - what a sound and light show we had last night!  Quite exciting ....... fortunately no damage here but down near Mandurah there were huge golf ball sized hailstones.

Laughed when I was watching the changing colours on the BOM website - we have some avid storm chasers amongst us - it certainly was colourful last night.

Brought warmth to my heart when I read Flashie's post on the 'Christmas' thread - she is definitely OUR Christmas Fairy and as she said - it is about FAMILY.  I have never known any family to go to so much trouble to bring pleasure to family, friends, neighbours and even perfect strangers - every year too - a real joy to read about and see pictures of!

On a sad note a family are without their 8 year old daughter as a result of an accident at the Motorplex down near Rockingham.  What possesses people to let an 8 year old drive unsupervised at around 90 kmh I really don't understand 😞  So sad for them all but the rules really do need to be changed.

Good afternoon friends Smiley Happy

Boring for some I know but a perfect summer afternoon here for us .... sitting in airconditioned comfort listening to the ABC cricket commentary of the first test.  Don't even need to watch - the not quite soporific tones of the commentators make the chores I am doing easier to get through.

I am sure you all wanted to know that NOT!

Count down to Christmas has started for some ..... slow to get moving here Smiley Frustrated

Enjoying the cricket in airconditioned comfort again today .... looking good so far!

Was just catching up on the news and read that 12 minutes out of Perth, the second carriage of the Indian Pacific jumped the tracks bringing everything to a grinding halt.  It was the motorrsil carriage transporting vehicles ..... wouldn't be too thrilled to have a car on that carriage  Smiley Surprised

Hope everyone is well - busy week ahead and I guess that might be the same for most.

Whatever you are doing, I hope you are enjoying it Smiley Happy

Well - the Poms lost the first test by 10 wickets but they won the news with the announcement of the engagement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Smiley LOL

Great news - they look like another lovely couple Smiley Happy
